Moses is a man of much wisdom. Yet he waits for the Lord to tell him when to set up the tent. Every thing was made and ready. Yet he did not haste to set up the tabernacle. We might have desire to do the work of God but most of us need to know that the design, time and order these three things are with the Lord. Today Moses' principles are followed by many countries, David's worship is invading many countries, and Solomon's knowledge is followed by many in the world. With all their highness, Moses can command people to work, David can provide for the temple of God, and Solomon can build the temple but none of them cannot design God's temple. When it comes to design he takes his pen and paper and designs it and later shows it to his servants. They have to learn to wait upon God and then learn what he shows. God gave a date to Moses to set up the tent.
The order of the setting up the things in the tabernacle are like this:
1. Ark of the covenant
2.Table of the shew bread
3. Candle light
4. Golden altar
5. Brazen altar
6. Laver
Why not simply put them in geographical order? No. God's order has some prophetic implications in it. Prayers at the golden altar is qualified through first taking part in the bread and light. That's why he told Moses to set up the table and light first then come to the golden altar. Cleansing at the Laver is qualified by the sacrifice on the Brazen altar so God told Moses to set up the Brazen sacrifice first and then the Laver.
You got the desire. God has the design, time and order.
