Accountability

God gives man raw material and man gives it a shape. Thus he makes man accountable.

How did I get a laptop

I was in Union Biblical Seminary. Was studying M.Div. In first year my room mate was from Nagaland. His name is Kethozer Aniu Kevichusa. I saw he had a Toshiba laptop. Its mouse was clipped on to its right side. The ball of the mouse was towards up and you have to use your thumb to move it. It looked nice. I thought i would pray the Lord for this. Actually when i went to bible seminary, my family was in debts of more than a lakh. This laptop seems that it costs more than a lakh. When i pray, i would ask the Lord with details of it. Now i want to ask Aniu about computer details in order to put them in prayer. Yet i hesitated because i dont want to appear computer-illiterate. So i did not ask him the details of the computer. The option now i have is to see it in my imagination and ask the Lord, "Lord give me the laptop which i am seeing now".

I prayed for about six months. After six months i wrote semester exams and then there was a week break. I went to Ongole, my home town that week. After I got there, my director James Rebbavarapu's mother asked me to help her in translating a book. So i would go every day morning to their house and help her in translating. One day unexpectedly i saw James in the house. It was a surprise. He came from US. I said hi. He showed me a  a bag and said, "this gift is for you". I went to the bag. Bag was heavy. This is not a bag. It was actually laptop. I opened and i saw the same computer, same company, same model except that it was not color but black and white laptop.

Awesome God. I never told James any details of the laptop. Guess who would have told him the model, color, company about the computer. This all happened in 1998.

Recently I got another laptop. This is also an awesome testimony how God works between two unknown ends. I will share it in another post. Praise God.

You are very precious

If some animal of the earth dies, man is the reason. If some animal of the sea dies, man is the reason. If something dies in the birds of the sky, man is the reason. If God comes down and dies, man is the reason.

You are very very important. Here on earth everyone talks about God the Father. Go to heaven and see. Everyone talks about you. Ask the moving cloud where it’s going. It would say that the Lord sent her to rain on people in certain area. Ask the angel who is on his way. He would say that he is going to meet some person on earth. Whole heaven is for you.

You are very precious to the Father. He is actually working on you. You are the crown of his whole creation. David said, “Whom do I have in heaven but you? (Ps. 73:25).  We did not hear what God would say to us. He would say, “Whom do I have on earth but you my son/daughter”. Before Jacob would go and meet the Lord, God met him in the dream. Before Jacob would say, I do not leave you until you bless me; Lord told him I will not leave you until I fulfill what I have promised you. (Gen. 28:15)

You are very precious to the Lord.

Isaiah 6:3-4

Isaiah Chapter 6

v. 3. “Holy, holy, holy"
They could not sing except than what they could see. I don't think we can ask these angels to write a song. Their song cannot be long enough. They sing only few things because they are occupied by many things that they could not comprehend. We understand God the Father by seeing that were created (Rom. 1:20). Angels now seeing the Creator and he cannot be fully grasped. Oh my God!

v.4. "At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook"
It seems worship shakes the doorposts and thresholds of any physical things. Acts 16:25-26
"About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God... Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken...."
In New Testament, we see the same result. When Paul and Silas were singing while praying the prison shook and the doors were opened.
The difference between OT and NT is that, in OT while worship was going on the enemies were confused and killed themselves (2 Chr. 20:21-23). Here in NT jailer also was about to kill himself but since NT comes with a different teaching of forgiveness, Paul saved him. That night the deliverance was not for the Paul and Silas, but it was for the jailer.

Kingdom of God and Parents

I leave my parents to build the kingdom of God. But if leaving parents is the kingdom of God, then I don't want such a kingdom.

Eph. 2:14-18 This is how it is now ...Peace

In those days God pulled down the walls to kill the enemy and now to kill the enmity.

"For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit." -Eph. 2:14-18

Isaiah 6:1-2

Isaiah 6:1-2 NIV

"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord,"
King Uzziah is a symbol for pride. When pride died, Isaiah was able to see the Lord. He has been a prophet yet he did not see the Lord before. He prophesied five chapters until now. From here is a different story. We may be prophets or so called servants of God. Yet it takes humbleness and lack of pride to see the Lord.

"...train of his robe filled the temple."
We usually think that the Lord is in his temple. Now the temple is in his train. Any big temple cannot contain God the Father. He humbles himself to meet us and fit in our humble rooms because he is in love with his people.

"...With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet,"
The word "they covered" sounds that they are exposed to something that they could not bear. They have been there for decades yet they are not accustomed to the power of his presence. Some worship-leaders are casual because it has been usual to them. These angels are telling us that the Lord is new to them in every fraction of a second. This experience is really awesome, glorious. Wow! What a wonderful God I have!

Love you Lord!!

Prophets and Administration

Prayer life with the Word of God makes us rulers.

Moses

Moses is a prophet. I know Moses did not become a king but he ruled. He had a prayer life. This is was the first time that he got his face shining (in original language he got horns). Horns is a symbolic for power and authority. Its because he got two tablets of the word of God in his hand. "When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD." Ex. 34:19

Joseph

Joseph can tell you the meaning of a dream. He did not settled as a prophet. There is a need of Joseph to rule over Egypt. He became a king. "till what he foretold came to pass, till the word of the LORD proved him true." Ps. 105:19

Daniel

Daniel was a wise man in terms of Babylon and a prophet in Jewish language. Yet he became a ruler. He read Jeremiah who wrote about Babylon captivity and understood the curse. So he prayed confessing the sins of his forefathers. "in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes." Dan. 9:2

Read the word of God.

Prayer along with implementing God's word takes you above your situations and rule over them. Nations need you. Israel needs you, Egyptians need you and Babylon needs you. The word of God can be applied anywhere.
